A ménage à trois and intimacy outside the bedroom are sexual fantasies we’ve all heard.
But what about sex in a desert, or even in a storage room? These are just two of the unusual ones sexual fantasies that social media users have admitted to attempting.
A hilarious Reddit thread, titled “What’s a Sexual Fantasy You Don’t Recommend,” features the bizarre sexcapades of commenters – many of whom bitterly regret their daring actions.
The thread started with a question from a user u/Fantastic-Ant-4429who asked, “What’s a sexual fantasy you don’t recommend fulfilling?”
Having sex in the desert, in a library and on an airplane were some of the most liked responses. Huffpost reported.
Reddit user u/ElPresidente714 admitted that he tried to have sex in the desert at night when he got back from Vegas. But in reality, they were confronted with “creepy, crawling desert things that don’t sleep at night.”
Another, u/DonSmitty, said a “high school buddy” covered his girlfriend (including her genitals) in chocolate syrup. But it didn’t end well: she became infected with a ‘crazy’ fungal infection.
Doing it in a storage room was another unusual fantasy that ended badly. User u/isthisfark wrote: ‘There is a cut-off time and if you miss it you will be stuck behind the gates for a night. Then the people who live there start to rustle.’
Not everyone pursues their sexual fantasies in real life or even plans to act on them. But a handful of people who’ve tried to make their browser history a reality have admitted they didn’t go quite to plan – a thread on Reddit revealed

Nationally, 55 percent of Britons report having sex at least once a week; this rises to 59 percent of men and falls to 51 percent of women
One commenter u/hot-snake-70 confessed that they found out the hard way that putting your penis “in a glass of red wine” “stings.”
It was also suggested that threesomes would be a bad idea, with user u/Touristupdatenola adding: ‘If I wanted to disappoint two people at the same time I would have dinner with both my parents.’
Another user, u/odysseus-23, warned against trying to have sex in a library because there was a good chance he would be “caught on camera.”
And while joining the Mile High Club – performing sex acts on board an airplane – may sound exciting, some warn it’s anything but.
‘Mile high club. Trust me, these bathrooms are getting smaller and smaller. And people notice it, they always notice it,” said u/bigindianenergy29.
Some people concluded that the bed is the best location. u/Mundane-Garbage1003 wrote: “Most ‘having sex in an unusual place’ fantasies, in my experience, quickly turn into a lesson on why people usually just use the bed.”

In some of the most extreme cases, experts have treated patients who watch X-rated content for up to 14 hours a day, according to the nonprofit online therapy program Pivotal Recovery.
However, it is understandable that many people suffer from not seeking professional help, out of shame and embarrassment about their condition or fear of exposure.
