Snow bargains Australia: Coles launches mega ‘best buys’ ski sale to take on Aldi

Coles has taken over Aldi’s famous snow sale and launched a huge ski event of its own featuring waterproof jackets, helmets, goggles and even Aline skis.

Aussies planning to hit the slopes this winter can choose from over 50 products that are part of the ‘Best Buys’ range, available exclusively online.

Prices range from just $19 for a pair Decathlon Wedze adult ski gloves down to $899 for the Cross 950+ Aline skies – a fraction of the cost of comparable products at specialty retailers.

Customers can buy an entire wardrobe fit for the snow with the $59 ski jacket and matching $59 pants likely to be popular.

Shoppers can also pair the sky with the Decathlon WEDZE Boost 500 Safety Alpine Ski Poles for $69 each, built with safety and durability in mind.

Kids are also sorted with the $45 kid’s helmet, $49 goggles and $35 pants.

Available in a range of sizes for both boys and girls, the outerwear is waterproof, soft and lined for warmth.

Coles General Manager for Health and Home Deb Galle said the supermarket giant is delighted to launch its first-ever ski sale.

“Coles Best Buys is all about making everyday home goods and technology more affordable for our customers – and now we’re taking it to the slopes, bringing customers great value in skiwear, accessories and equipment for the first time,” said Deb.

“We know that many households are experiencing budget pressures right now and going to the snow can be very expensive, especially for families, but with our range of Decathlon apparel and accessories, adults can dress from head to toe for just $250 per person and kids for about $170 each – this includes a complete set of thermals, ski jacket and pants, ski gloves, goggles and helmet.

‘Functionality and warmth are top priorities for a snow trip, so it was important to us to offer an affordable and accessible range from a trusted and well-known brand like Decathlon.’
