Snoop Dogg rocks a patriotic Olympics-themed outfit as he joins WNBA star A’ja Wilson to watch USA take on Brazil at the men’s basketball quarter final in Paris
He was the unlikely face of the 2024 Paris Olympics, attending several events including equestrian events after holding the iconic torch.
Snoop Dogg was also back in action on Saturday, wearing a flashy, patriotic, Olympic-themed outfit as he attended the men’s basketball team’s quarterfinals.
The 52-year-old rapper was joined by WNBA star A’ja Wilson as they sat courtside to watch the thrilling US-Brazil match at the Bercy Arena in Paris.
Snoop, real name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., seemed to be enjoying the game immensely, with the musician clapping and cheering in support of the players.
His support also extended to his outfit: the white T-shirt and shorts were decorated with the American flags and the Olympic rings emblem.

To complete his look, Snoop wore red American socks, a black cap, dark sunglasses and a gold chain with diamonds and a picture of the Eiffel Tower.
Meanwhile, A’ja, 28, showed off a pair of long, white Ralph Lauren shorts and a matching polo shirt.
Snoop made his first appearance after adopting a presidential tradition from the US, when he decided to surprise the women’s medal winners in the 200-meter final in track and field at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris with a phone call.
“Good job, ladies! Good job!” the 52-year-old hip-hop legend can be heard telling the three women in a Facebook Reel shared on the official Team USA Track and Field account.
The video featured Gabby Thomas, who had just won gold for Team USA, Julien Alfred, who made Saint Lucia proud by taking home silver, and Brittany Brown, the bronze medalist who also represented Team USA.
Brown was excited about her performance at the Games and wanted to talk to the Doggystyle star herself, so she let the super rapper know that she’s from Pomona, California, which is just 45 miles northeast of his hometown of Long Beach, California.
“Snoop Dogg, I know you got a team in Pomona, California. I’m from Pomona. I’m just letting you know I’m from Pomona. IE, Pomona,” Brown told the Gin And Juice star.
To which Snoop quickly responded, “You already know that — absolutely. You guys made me proud today.”

Snoop, who served as a special ambassador for NBC during the major sporting event, was all over the Olympics with his commentary and performances, both solo and with Martha Stewart, 83.
One of their first outings together was hosting Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party for VH1 in the fall of 2016.
Before heading to the Olympics, Snoop was hard at work on his upcoming twelfth studio album, Missionary.
In late 2022, the rapper began openly talking about working on new music via his social media accounts.
The album is produced by his regular collaborator Dr. Dre, who helped launch Snoop’s career with the single Deep Cover and also produced his debut studio album Doggystyle (1993).
During an appearance on the Stephen A. Smith podcast Know Mercy, Snoop told fans that “it’ll be done in November.”
Missionary has been described as a return to the sound of the rapper’s early albums, which were released in the early to mid-1990s.
