Snoop Dogg names his top three NFL quarterbacks before making a bold Super Bowl prediction on First Take

Hip-hop legend and avid sports fan Snoop Dogg appeared on ESPN’s First Take on Friday and gave his analysis on the NFL’s quarterback snap.

Even though the NFL season is only seven weeks away, some of the brightest facilitators have returned from their hiatus and are already showing off their star power on the field.

In a conversation with Stephen A. Smith and Cam Newton, Snoop named his top three quarterbacks this year.

“You know Patrick Mahomes because he knows how to get it done,” the rapper said when asked who he would put above Texas star CJ Stroud. “Lamar Jackson doing his thing.”

“I’m not ranking Josh Allen [above Stroud]he added, rounding out his top 3 list of Mahomes, Jackson and Stroud.

In a quest for a third straight title, Mahomes looked phenomenal as the Chieds started their quest for a three-peat at 6-0. Mahomes was efficient, completing 111 of 160 attempts for 1,235 and six touchdowns.

On the other hand, the reigning MVP in Jackson has presided over a four-game win streak for the Ravens after losing their first two games. While their record is far from flawless, Jackson impressively completed 118 of 176 attempts for 1,529 yards and ten touchdowns.

However, with the conversation turning to Stroud, Snoop countered his selections with a bold Super Bowl prediction if the Texans would meet the Chiefs in the playoffs.

“If CJ beats Patrick Mahomes, he wins the chip,” he exclaimed. “If you want to take down the Brady killer, you have to get your hands on the whole thing.”

Now in his second year in the NFL, Ohio State’s standout has been impressive as the Texans start the season at 5-1.

In six games, Stroud has completed 142 of 208 passes for 1,577 yards and ten touchdowns.

“You can face Patrick Mahomes and win and then lose to Lamar Jackson,” Smith replied.

Stroud will try out that bracket in December as he will face the Chiefs on the 21st and the Ravens on Christmas Day.

Last season, Stroud led the Texans to their first postseason appearance since 2019. Houston would defeat the Browns in the Wildcard before falling to Jackson and Baltimore in the Divisional playoffs.
