Snoop Dog received a true Scottish welcome when he touched down at Glasgow airport ahead of his concert at the city’s OVO Hydro on Friday.

The 51-year-old rapper got off his flight to be greeted by his and Dr Dre’s song, Still DRE, played on traditional bagpipes.

Snoop seemed delighted with the welcome which he described as ‘fucking great’ and even showed off his dance moves on the floor.

The musician was wrapped in a blanket after his long journey and protected from the Scottish cold with a red cap.

Piper Ross Ainslie, who was also wearing a kilt, said glazgow live: ‘It was a very cool experience!’.

What a welcome: The rapper stepped off his flight to be greeted by his and Dr Dre Still DRE’s song played on traditional bagpipes.

‘I only had one day to figure out some music, but ‘Still DRE’ is a great tune! Who knows?’.

Running to Instagram, one fan wrote: “I’ve never been so proud to be Scottish.”

With second writing: ‘Brilliant, Best Scottish Welcome’.

And a third said, ‘That’s the crossover I’ve been waiting for!’
