A young man was allegedly stabbed in the chest multiple times in front of surprised shoppers in Adelaide.
The 19-year-old man sustained stab wounds outside The Reject Shop at the Munno Para shopping center in Smithfield, north of the city, on Friday around 12:30 p.m.
Police and paramedics were called to the center and treated the man for injuries to his torso before taking him to Royal Adelaide Hospital with what they described as “non-life-threatening injuries”.
An 18-year-old man was arrested at the scene where police allegedly seized a weapon.

The man sustained stab wounds to the torso outside The Reject Shop in the Munno Para shopping mall.
The Evanston Gardens man was later charged with aggravated assault causing serious damage.
He was denied bail to appear before Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police believe the attack was targeted and spent much of the afternoon at the scene gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
“It is early in the investigation, however the incident is not believed to be random,” a statement read.
Police urge anyone who witnessed the incident to call Crime Stoppers.
