Smite 2 developers admit they’re ‘concerned’ about player reactions to the original’s lack of portable content

Hits 2 has been officially announced, and despite the significant improvements shown, developer Titan Forge Games is concerned that some players may be unhappy with the lack of transferable content between the two games.

The upcoming multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) will not be a replacement Hits 1, which will certainly be a relief for loyal fans. Instead of content being transferred directly, two loyalty reward systems are introduced. ‘Legacy Gems’, equal to the number of gems (free and paid) players spent in the original game, will be distributed to Hits 2 players, which can be used for a 50% discount on most in-game purchases. The number of Legacy Gems received is doubled for players who purchase a Founder’s Pack Hits 2.

Plus, the first update of Year 11 is in Hits 1 introduces ‘Divine Legacy’, which rewards players for the time spent playing To beat over the years. Depending on how long they have been playing, players can unlock up to 11 skins to use Hits 2and their progress earns them badges that they can use in the future.

Cantatore elaborates on these reward systems, saying the team “developed this plan at least five times,” adding more and more until their player groups noticed how “generous” they were being.

“So we’re very hopeful that players will look at this and say, ‘Wow, you guys are really doing something great for the players, you care about the players,’ because we really do – this is really designed with the players in mind,” Cantatore continues. “But we understand that there will probably be players who will be disappointed because they want everything to carry over. But it just wasn’t possible for us to make this level an evolution of a game and take everything from the past into account.” to take.”
