Small plane crashes in airfield at Parwan, near Bacchus Marsh, in Melbourne

A small plane has crashed 50km northwest of Melbourne, causing widespread fear for those on board.

The plane crashed at an airfield on Aerodrome Rd, Parwan, near Bacchus Marsh, at around 11.20am.

Emergency services and rescues Rescue teams are on site. It is unclear whether anyone was injured.
