Sly Stallone infuriates neighbors with bizarre barrier at $35 million Palm Beach mansion

Sylvester Stallone has upset neighbors in luxurious Palm Beach, Florida with a bizarre plan to build an underwater barrier next to his $35 million mansion.

The 78-year-old has overseen plans to install a seaweed barrier in the area’s Intracoastal Waterway. The Palm Beach Post reported on Friday.

“The overall purpose of the project is to exclude boaters from proximity to the celebrity’s properties,” the Army Corps said in a public notice about the plans, which appear to fall under the classification of an environmental project, the newspaper reported .

It is also noted that there is debris in the area and that seaweed is a secondary priority in implementing the changes Stallone wants to bring about.

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s project review left Stallone’s neighbors “blindsided,” the newspaper reported.

Residents have until December 25 at 5 p.m. to submit comments on the project, the newspaper said.
