North Melbourne star striker Cameron Zurhaar has let his now former team-mate Jason Horne-Francis know exactly what he thinks of the 2021 No. 1 draft pick leaving the club to return to Adelaide.
Based on his social media activity, Zurhaar, 24, was eager to see the back of the former No. 1 draft pick.

Horne-Francis, 19, was traded to Port Adelaide on a six-year deal in a four-club AFL ‘mega deal’ that saw 13 draft picks change hands, with GWS claiming November’s top pick and the Kangaroos getting picks two and three.
A trade request from the homesick Horne-Francis – whose stepfather Fabian Francis played with the Power – became increasingly likely as he was agitated by the struggling Kangaroos, and Zurhaar was clearly happy to see him leave.

“Elite,” Zurhaar responded in the Instagram post in which North Melbourne confirmed the trade news.
The juicy comment could have been defended as an appreciation for the club’s design, but a subsequent backlash on social media made it more personal.
Zurhaar has an Instagram page called @bullscooking where he often posts meals and videos of himself preparing food.
In one of his Instagram stories, Zurhaar promoted a discount on merchandise.
“Discount code, ‘Hornetgone’ for 10 percent off, act fast,” the message read, which was a clear swipe at Horne-Francis, with his ‘Hornet’ nickname.
After drafting Horne-Francis as the number 1 pick in the 2021 draft, the loss of the midfielder is a serious blow to the Kangaroos.
His departure added to an already difficult off-season for North, with the appointment of three-time Hawthorn premiership coach Alastair Clarkson quickly tarnished for having to wait in the wings while there is an AFL review of alleged racist treatment of an Indigenous player with the Hawks during his tenure.
