SkyWest jet delayed by two hours ‘after two staffers refuse to cooperate with each other

FIGHT servants! SkyWest jet delayed for two hours ‘after two staffers refuse to cooperate with each other and storm off the plane following a collision over a passenger who asked to be switched from first class to coach’

A SkyWest flight was delayed by two hours after a pair of flight attendants got into an embarrassing argument over a passenger’s request to switch seats – with both workers storming off the plane.

A now-viral video was posted to TikTok by ESPN anchor Ashley Brewer, who was on a flight from Los Angeles to Houston on Tuesday, which was set to the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme music.

She posted a post of at least two flight attendants bickering, which she said was over whether or not one of the first-class passengers could switch seats with someone on the bus so they could sit next to her husband.

A male flight attendant granted the request, but a female flight attendant then reportedly told him not to allow it as it was against SkyWest’s policy. The airline only allows people to change seats up to 72 hours before departure.

The male flight attendant then began yelling at the female employee before running to the front of the plane and crying.

“They kept bickering and going back and forth in the middle of the aisle about the rules, and what was right and what was wrong,” Brewer said.

Finally, the video shows the male flight attendant getting off the plane, while a new crew member replaces him.

An hour later, however, the female flight attendant – according to Brewer – also decided to get off the plane.

“So then we just sat down and waited and waited and waited,” said Brewer, who called the flight attendants “petty” for their behavior. “And it was a very big thing. They called in the flight crew, the pilots came out and tried to talk [it]. It was such an ordeal. And I’m so glad it’s over.”

Passengers had to wait even longer for a full crew capable of flying the plane before it took off.

A SkyWest spokesperson told DailyMail.com that they have launched an investigation into what happened.

“SkyWest is aware of reports of a flight attendant issue that delayed flight 4860, operating as American Eagle from Los Angeles to Houston, on Saturday,” the airline said.

“We regret the delay this has caused our passengers and apologize for any inconvenience caused. We hold all our employees to the highest standards of professionalism and are conducting an internal investigation into this flight.”

Brewer also clarified that the new crew was “so sweet,” but that the experience ended up being very frustrating.

“I can only see my fiancé for 24 hours. It’s 22 now because servants are petty.’

According to Flight Aware data, the plane was only delayed for just over an hour WKRG.

She also noted that in the end the woman was not allowed to switch seats to sit with her husband.
