Skye Wheatley reveals she suffered from postpartum depression ‘badly’ after giving birth to her two sons
Influencer Skye Wheatley opens up about her mental health following the birth of her two young sons.
The 30-year-old has revealed she is suffering from ‘severe’ postnatal depression following the birth of Forest (5) and Bear (3).
Skye made her revelation on Instagram on Wednesday after a fan asked her if she suffered from depression after the birth of her sons.
“Did you also suffer from PPD after giving birth?” the fan asked, to which Skye replied, “Yes, very much.”
The former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here winner also sent along a recent photo of her two sons and partner Lachlan Waugh.

This condition may be accompanied by feelings of sadness, anxiety and intense fatigue that last for a long time.
This isn’t the first time Skye has opened up about her parenting journey, as she often shares details about her life with followers.

In 2022, Skye shared her joy as a mother during an Instagram Q&A.
When a follower told her she was about to go into labor, Skye wished the fan good luck and admitted she had enjoyed the birth.
“I miss that. I really want to do that every day! I love giving birth! Good luck, Momma,” Skye wrote.
She previously shared her birth stories on YouTube and during her first birth she was mainly dependent on gas.
SShortly after the birth of her second son Bear in 2021, Skye shared how much she loves the ‘newborn baby bubble’.
“Did you have PPD after your babies?” the fan asked, to which Skye replied, “Yes, very bad.”
“I love this newborn baby bubble and never want it to end… my hormones and emotions are out of control,” she wrote on Instagram.
“It happens so fast and before you know it, they’re not little babies anymore.”
The Gold Coast star rose to fame when she competed on Big Brother Australia in 2014 and is now a full-time influencer with 668,000 followers.
