Skye Wheatley is covered in ‘crazy’ dots around her eyes after getting a ‘scary’ skin treatment

She took to Instagram because she was too self-conscious to go to the gym.

And Skye Wheatley is the latest reality star to have had a skin tightening treatment, leaving her face looking ‘crazy’ and feeling like ‘a new generation of avatar’.

On Friday, the 28-year-old influencer showed off her workout routine and admitted that she underwent plasma fibroblast therapy to improve the appearance of the skin around her eyes.

At the beginning of her video, Skye said: “I had a skin treatment and I look really crazy, that’s why I’m drawing the line to go to the gym today.”

“I’m not walking in the gym, being a self-inflicted new generation of fucking avatar.”

Skye admitted to thinking that she is a self-assured person, but this would be too much to bear.

The mother of two’s 634,000 followers flooded the comments section trying to find out what she had done, showing their support and exclaiming their thanks for an honest workout video.

Plasma fibroblast therapy is a new procedure within the cosmetic treatment industry with little research and literature on the effects.

It targets fibroblasts, which are cells that make proteins and collagen in the layer of skin just below the surface.

A technician will use a pen-like device to deliver a high-frequency electrical current to areas of the skin. The pen does not touch the face, but the air pressure creates micro-lesions on the skin.

Breaks down skin proteins, promotes tissue regeneration, stimulates fibroblast activity and causes tissue hardening.

After the procedure, the small burn spots are expected to scab over and fall off in a week or two.
