Sky Sports commentators were forced to apologize after fans broke the silence on Remembrance Sunday ahead of Celtic’s clash with Aberdeen.
Before the start of the match there were concerns that silence would not be properly respected and that turned out to be the case.
Teams from across the country lined up to pay their respects over the weekend, but the gesture was not appreciated by some Celtic supporters.
They continued with boos and jeers before the referee ended the silence after 30 seconds.
Commentator Ian Crocker acknowledged the fans’ reaction as the players prepared for kickoff.

“Apologies if you’re offended, some people just couldn’t keep quiet,” he said.
The reaction from Celtic fans comes after weeks of pro-Palestinian protests in the stands.
Celtic made the decision to ban fan group the Green Brigade after they failed to adhere to the club’s stance on political gestures.
They had waved Palestinian flags during several matches and Celtic came out to confirm that ‘political messages and banners’ are not welcome.
