Sky Sports was forced to apologize after a fan was caught on broadcast telling Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno that he has a ‘nice a**e’.

The incident took place during Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Fulham on Monday evening, where James Maddison and Son Heung-Min struck to score three points for the home side.

Ange Postecoglou’s side are now top of the Premier League after the victory and can extend their lead to five points with a win over Crystal Palace on Friday.

However, there was a moment in the match that those in attendance would have missed, but luckily it was caught by Sky’s cameras.

During the second half, a supporter could be heard shouting at Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno, who also spent four years at rivals Arsenal.

Sky commentators quickly apologized for the comment, which was clearly heard during the broadcast.

The incident also came before Sky Sports apologized to James Maddison after a technical foul during his post-match interview.

As Maddison prepared to begin his interview with Sky’s Dave Jones, Jamie Carragher and Gary O’Neil, he quickly reported that he could hear Marco Silva’s interview.

After looking rather perplexed for a moment, Carragher started laughing and asked the midfielder: ‘What’s he saying?’

Jokingly, Maddison replied: “He said Maddison’s goal was excellent, I think.”

The Tottenham playmaker’s response sparked laughter in the live studio before the issue was resolved and Maddison spoke about the win.

The former Leicester star scored Spurs’ second of the match – after Son Heung-Min’s opener – to help seal the win for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

During the same broadcast, Carragher praised Maddison for being ‘influential’ in Tottenham’s success so far this season.

“When pressed on that claim, Sky’s David Jones said: ‘I think he’s been so influential in turning Spurs around,’” Carragher told Sky Sports..

‘And the credit goes to the manager (Postecoglou), it’s his philosophy and his way of playing. But he (Maddison) has played a big role in changing that.

‘He came in and took shirt No. 10, Harry Kane’s shirt. Possibly the best player to ever play for Tottenham. I think he had the captain’s armband on at one point.’
