Sky News host Peter Stefanovic slams Prince Harry for ‘hanging his brother William out to dry’

TV presenter Peter Stefanovic denounces ‘swell guy’ Prince Harry, claiming he and wife Meghan Markle could run out of money after their $20 million Archetypes Spotify podcast was shut down

Peter Stefanovic has criticized Prince Harry for making explosive claims about his brother William in his controversial memoir, Spare.

The Sky News host on Tuesday discussed Duke and his wife Meghan Markles’ $20 million Archetypes podcast being scrapped by Spotify when he criticized Harry for his “boring” book.

Harry’s book is horrific and just boring. And I’m still stuck hanging your brother to dry,’ Peter began.

“But if he’s happy making his money, destroying his family, and coping with his consciousness, then I wish him luck. Sounds like a great guy.’

“Broken deals or not, they’re still making a lot of money out of it, so they’re laughing at the bank, but for how long?”

In his explosive memoir, Harry labeled Prince William his “nemesis.”

The Duke held nothing back when he wrote about his very complex feelings about his older sibling – exposing his bitter frustrations about his role as ‘reserve’ to William, who is the heir to the throne.

Harry also accused William of physically assaulting him and claimed that the palace planted negative stories about Meghan in the media.

In an interview with Good Morning America in January, Harry admitted that he always felt there was “this competition” between the two siblings, which he attributes to their respective positions in the line of succession.

There’s a quote in the book where you refer to your brother as your “beloved brother and nemesis.” Strong words. What do you mean?’ asked host Michael Strahan.

Harry then replied, ‘There’s always been a competition between us, oddly enough. I think it really plays into or is always played by the “heir/reserve”.’

Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Markle’s Spotify podcast Archetypes will not be renewed for a second season.

The streaming giant and the Sussexes released a joint statement saying they have ‘mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we have created together’.

But Bill Simmons, Head of Podcast Innovation and Monetization at Spotify, condemned the pair in an episode of his own podcast on Friday.

“The damn crooks. That’s the podcast we should have launched with them,” he said. “I have to get drunk one night and tell the story of the Zoom I had with Harry to try and help him with a podcast idea. It’s one of my best stories.’
