Emma Paton has stepped out in full wedding dress as she hilariously agreed to marry a darts fan in a social media skit.
Paton is preparing for another year as Sky Sport presenter for their coverage of the World Darts Championship, which starts this weekend and runs until Christmas.
Interest in darts is high at the moment due to the success of Luke Littler who is doing wonders for the sport, and he will this time look to topple defending champion and world champion Luke Humphries after losing to him in the final last year.
And ahead of the tournament, Paddy Power has announced Paton as their brand ambassador, announcing her arrival with a hilarious video skit featuring Paton in a wedding dress.
In a number of clips, she was seen in an all-white dress, including her characteristically walking down the road, looking angry as she exited the fan door.
The fan, Anthony, is seen at a Sunday dinner with his wife and mother-in-law discussing a night of darts and downplaying the crowd’s drunken antics.

Through a series of flashbacks, Anthony claims he’s had ‘one or two’ drinks as fans see him getting more and more carried away, before Paton bursts through the front door in her dress with a bouquet in hand.
She reveals that Anthony proposed to her the night before, while Anthony’s wife was furious. Paton then demands to know if the proposal meant anything before the ad flashes back into the arena.
Anthony is seen holding a sign that reads “Emma, will you marry me?”, while Paton, while working, is distracted by the sign, turns to Anthony and says, “Yes, I do.” I.’
Anthony tries to downplay the situation and suggests he can put Emma in touch with a friend, but Emma storms out. She throws away the bouquet and leaves still in her wedding dress before Paddy Power’s closing message urges fans to ‘think before they write this Christmas’.
Commenting on Paton’s appointment as ambassador, Paddy Power said: ‘Emma is one of the best presenters in the industry – and it turns out she’s the real deal when it comes to acting too. Hollywood beckons!
‘This Paddy Power World Darts Championship is going to be bigger than anything we’ve ever seen before. But if you do go, write your signs responsibly.”
New Paddy Power brand ambassador Paton said: “Paddy Power has very quickly become synonymous with darts and I couldn’t be more excited to be announced as an official ambassador for the brand, which represents women in the sport.
‘With just a few days to go until the World Cup, there are plenty of exciting things happening for the fans and I can’t wait to work with the team to bring them to life. It’s the fans who will make Ally Pally feel like home for the next three weeks, but be careful what you write… Maybe I’m taking it seriously!’
