Sky Bet reveals EIGHT fans backed Feyenoord to come from three goals down to secure an unlikely draw against Man City before Pep Guardiola’s team suffered late collapse

  • With a 3-0 deficit, eight single bets were placed on a draw between Feyenoord and City
  • The Dutch club scored in the 74th, 82nd and 89th minutes to secure a 3-3 draw
  • It was City’s sixth straight match in all competitions without a win

When Manchester City took a 3-0 lead against Feyenoord in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, it looked as if Pep Guardiola’s side were on their way to their third victory of the 2024/25 European season.

But Feyenoord had other ideas, with the Dutch club scoring in the 74th, 82nd and 89th minutes to claim an unlikely 3-3 draw at the Etihad.

Although most thought Feyenoord had no chance of salvaging a point after the first hour of play, there were still a handful of punters at Sky Bet expecting a comeback.

While they were 3-0 down, eight single bets were placed at huge odds of 250/1 for a draw between Feyenoord and City.

It turned out to be a particularly good return for one punter, who bet £5 at 250/1 before ultimately paying out £958.

Meanwhile, all other bets placed were £1 or less.

Pep Guardiola has now not seen his City side win any of their last six games

The result is yet another blow for City and manager Guardiola, who have gone six straight games without a win in all competitions.

Things don’t get any easier for the Sky Blues as they travel to Anfield on Sunday to take on league leaders Liverpool.

Can they bounce back and close the gap on Liverpool’s lead at the top of the table? Or will it be City’s seventh game in a row without a win?

We’ll find out this weekend in a match that could have far-reaching implications for the Premier League title race.
