Skip Bayless isn’t a fan of Dillon Brooks’ nonsense within the context of his abelites, saying “turn it on is all he can do.”

After scoring 12 points in the Grizzlies’ victory over the Lakers Wednesday, Brooks called LeBron James old and said he “disrespects nobody until they come give me 40.”

James had 28 points in the loss.

And while Brooks Memphis even helped the series with his defense against James, Bayless was exasperated by the swingman’s antics the next day.

“Dillon Brooks is nothing but an instigator,” he said said on Fox Sports Undisputed.

“Turning it on is all he can do. Because the truth is, he barks with very little bite. and when we talk about smoke and mirrors, he actually has no smoke, he’s all mirrors.

“He’s a terrible shooter,” he continued. “He was 32 percent a three-point shooter this year … last night I saw him shoot, it looks so clumsy, and when I least expect it, he shoots the dagger.”

Brooks made a three-pointer to give Memphis an 11-point lead with 1:23 left.

And earlier in the period, he stared James down after emptying a three over the Lakers star.

While Bayless was apparently annoyed by Brooks’ comments, NBA legend Charles Barkley was unbothered.

“I have no problem with that,” the Hall of Famer said on TNT’s Inside the NBA.

The Grizzlies needed all the help they could get from Brooks and his teammates as they beat the Lakers 103-93 without Ja Morant.
