Skip Bayless ushered in a new era of Undisputed Monday morning along with a brand new “dream team” of analysts: Michael Irvin, Richard Sherman and Keyshawn Johnson.
The FS1 show aired for the first time this week since the departure of Shannon Sharpe, Bayless’ sparring partner since day one. Sharpe retired in June and is now part of the team on ESPN’s “First Take.”
But Bayless kicked off this new era by introducing his new co-hosts, claiming, “This is the best morning of my career!” This is going to be the best show I’ve ever been on. Welcome to the new Undisputed!’
The show even has a new Lil Wayne intro song. Bayless added, “Understand I haven’t changed a thing. but my teammates and format certainly do… now you get to hear from three of the greatest personalities in sports history: my dream team.”
The first of the new analysts to join him in the presidency was Super Bowl winner Richard Sherman, who had an infamous confrontation with Bayless at First Take more than a decade ago.

“One of the greatest talkers and brightest players ever… three-time First-Team All-Pro, five-time pro bowler,” Bayless said of Sherman, who will continue as an analyst on Amazon’s Thursday Night Football.
“Yet he’s best known for putting me in my place on ESPN 11 years ago? Wait, that’s not right. Who writes this stuff?’
Johnson was next introduced. The former wide receiver spent 11 seasons in the NFL. More recently, he has made his name as the host of ‘First Take’ and the ESPN radio show, ‘Keyshawn, JWill & Max.’
“He’s an insufferable USC and Lakers fan – oh no, another LeBron (James) fan!” said Bayless. ‘The title of the book he once wrote was ‘Just Give Me the Damn Ball!’ Well, I will!’

Last but certainly not least joining the panel was former Cowboys star Irvin, who has appeared on First Take and NFL Network.
“I believe this guy was the best receiver ever,” Bayless said. “There’s never been a more appropriate nickname: The Playmaker…now he’s about to make a bunch more plays here in the new Undisputed.”
The new team began this new era by discussing topics such as the Cowboys trading for Trey Lance. But only after Bayless visited some of the sport’s biggest stars.
He said, “LeBron still doesn’t have a linkage gene. Aaron Rodgers is still the most overhyped player in NFL history.’
