American sportscaster Skip Bayless has blamed Tommy Fury’s loss of Jake Paul on the doorstep of his older brother Logan, who called out the entire Fury family in a live stadium interview mid-fight.
At the end of the third round, the older Logan was asked how he saw the fight unfolding in a live interview that would have been heard by both the fighters and their camps.
He said: ‘Jake is doing very well, I think the first two rounds were close. He definitely got that last round.
‘Tommy, if you can hear me, you’re a ‘brother bitch and you’re gassing’. You ab ****. The whole Fury family ab****’.
It got the crowd excited, but Bayless didn’t think it was Logan’s smartest move.

Taking to Twitter after the fight, once Fury was confirmed to be the winner on points, Bayless wrote: “I think Logan Paul helped cost his brother that fight with his call between rounds of Tommy Fury and his family.”
He called them all “b” into a microphone that the crowd, and Tommy, could hear. Bad idea. Logan trying to promote Logan, at the expense of his brother.
Logan also called out Tyson Fury on Saturday the eve of the fight, when he and his brother were standing ringside as part of final preparations.
Jake Paul was filming himself and Logan as they stood inside the ring, when Logan appeared to increase the tension between the two families.
The clip opens with Jake saying, ‘Tomorrow I’m going to prove that the Pauls are bigger than the Furys. The debate is over. Tune in, ladies and gentlemen.
Logan adds, “So, Tyson, in the second round, I’m going to knock you out.”
Logan has boxed himself, most notably in an exhibition against Floyd Mayweather but also against another YouTuber on KSI. Paul lost that fight, in 2019 in Los Angeles.
Tyson did not directly respond to any of Logan’s taunts, even though he was in Saudi Arabia in his brother Tommy’s corner for the fight.
Fury defeated Jake Paul via points decision after the fight went the full eight rounds.
Fury said that he was willing to take a rematch with Jake Paul after their win.
Tommy was respectful of his defeated rival after the fight and said that he would accept the rematch.
“Jake Paul made some good shots, he’s a much better fighter than I thought he was,” Fury said. ‘This is my first main event. If you want a rematch, go ahead.
‘I fought Jake Paul and I went out and won. He was so much tougher than I thought he was going to be, there’s no way people can’t tell that he’s a proper fighter. It was a game, it kept coming.
