A huge brawl broke out at a Las Vegas ski resort when a group of snowboarders cut the lift line, forcing surprised bystanders to duck out of the way.
A video capturing the incident, in which a group of snowboarders punch and punch each other at the top of a hill at Las Vegas’ Lee Canyon ski area, has since gone viral on social media.
The tension reportedly escalated when a group of teenagers continuously cut a ‘single’ lift line, intended for solo riders to move faster.
A snowboarder outside the group became upset and allegedly yelled at them all the way to the top of the mountain.
Grabbing each other, the snowboarders clogged the chairlift exit while other riders fell down behind them and had to pull off their snowboards.

The clash broke out when the snowboarders blocked the chairlift exit, causing other riders behind them to fall and pull off their snowboards.
The video was shared by a social media user on X, formerly Twitter, on Friday and has racked up more than 800,000 views and hundreds of comments.
Lee Canyon General Manager Dan Hooper later clarified in a statement that the brawl took place on January 13.
“Lee Canyon has revoked the passes of people involved and we are actively cooperating with law enforcement authorities in their ongoing investigation,” Hooper wrote.
Reddit users reported that the group of teens repeatedly cut the singles line throughout the day.
One user, who claimed their friends were at the resort, wrote: ‘Some teens cut through the singles line multiple times, which then escalated into a shouting match all the way up the chairlift, and then into the fight in the video .’
Another person intervened, adding that a verbal altercation took place at the bottom of the elevator before the camera started rolling.
They wrote: ‘A random man apparently got involved and words were exchanged all the way to the top of the mountain, where the baboon industry began.’
When other skiers and snowboarders started calling out the teens for cutting the singles line, they allegedly responded with, “Who even comes up here alone?” That’s nothing.’

In the video you see a snowboarder in a light purple jacket sitting on the ground and adjusting his bindings.
The situation takes a sudden turn when another person dressed entirely in black approaches and slaps him/her in the face.
Others quickly gather around the purple snowboarder and launch a violent attack until they are forced to lie down.
They blocked the exit, causing the riders behind them to struggle to get off the chairlift and onto the slope.
In another clip, from a different angle, the snowboarder in purple chased another individual up the slope until it reached a point where the terrain became too steep.
They had to walk back to the top while you see a random snowboard rolling down the hill.
Some social media users, who had not been to the resort or witnessed the brawl, believed that anyone blocking the exit deserved to be hit.
One person wrote: ‘As an outside observer, I feel like anyone clinging to the elevator exit absolutely deserved to be punched in the face.’
Another person who grew up skiing wrote, “Going into singles isn’t a bad thing if you don’t mind your group being split up. On busy days you can generally get up the mountain faster.
“If you use the singles line to all cheat into the same seat, then it sucks,” they added.

One person who has been to the resort said: ‘The mountains closest to high population density are always the ones where the most children act like little ones.’
Lee Canyon’s general manager said the resort is investigating the situation with law enforcement authorities.
“We have a steadfast zero-tolerance policy against illegal or disruptive behavior on our property,” Hooper wrote. “Individuals who violate this policy will face consequences including termination of their season pass and loss of future access to the resort.”
As of Friday afternoon, no charges or arrests have been made against anyone involved in the brawl.
