Skai Jackson’s domestic violence case has been dismissed and she will not face charges over an alleged altercation with her boyfriend last week.
The former Disney Channel star, 22, who recently dodged questions from fans about her arrest, was arrested for the incident at Universal Studios CityWalk and released just hours later.
However, no charges will be filed against the actress as prosecutors found a lack of evidence, TMZ reported on Saturday.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office told the newspaper that the case will not proceed because Jackson has no criminal history.
The alleged victim, her boyfriend, was not injured and is not cooperating with the Public Prosecution Service.

On Wednesday, Skai conspicuously dodged questions from fans about her prison sentence during the star’s TikTok Live, but she did return to social media following her arrest on suspicion of domestic violence.
The star discussed other topics during the live taping, but surprisingly decided not to talk about the arrest.
In a fragment shared with XFormerly known as Twitter, Jackson was seen discussing an upcoming television project — but in the comments, fans continued to ask the actress questions about the arrest.
“She answers everything except our questions,” one person wrote on social media, while another added: “Girl what happened to you and what happened to you?”
One fan also asked, “Why were you locked up?”, while others simply typed the word “prison” in the comments.
Skai, who currently has 22 million followers on the platform, explained in the clip: “I just filmed a TV show, but I can’t say what it is yet.”
The Jessie star has been active on social media since her arrest and returned to Instagram on Wednesday.
She uploaded a video to her Instagram page to give a glimpse of her “hair care/wash day,” but the comments didn’t mention her arrest at all.

Fans laughed at her fundraising, with Jackson emphasizing in a follow-up TikTok post that she “doesn’t need the money” and “doesn’t take it that seriously.”
Skai has previously had run-ins with the law when she filed for a restraining order against rapper Bhad Bhabie (Danielle Bregoli) in early 2020 after she allegedly made threats against Jackson.
However, later that same year, the actress had the restraining order lifted after Bregoli checked herself into rehab for past trauma and drug abuse.
Despite her return to social media and the case being dropped, Jackson has yet to publicly comment on her arrest.
