Six-week-old Tennessee baby boy is mauled to death by his parents’ pet husky dog

  • Mark and Chloe Mansoor were left devastated after their son was murdered in his crib
  • The couple was excited to become parents for the first time and threw a baby shower
  • The husky was owned for eight years and never showed any signs of aggression

A six-week-old boy has been mauled to death by the beloved family dog while he slept in his crib in their home.

Ezra Mansoor died on Thursday afternoon after six days of fighting for life in hospital with swelling of the brain and bleeding in his skull.

His parents Mark, 28, and Chloe Mansoor, 25, from Knoxville, Tennessee, welcomed their first child on April 14 and wanted nothing more than to become parents.

They never dreamed that the calm, well-behaved husky they had for the past eight years would attack their son “out of the blue.”

Mark and Chloe married in 2022 and hosted a baby shower with family with gifts piled high in the living room next to huge blocks spelling out ‘baby’.

“Being his mother was the greatest honor and the best thing I’ve ever done,” Chloe told local news stations outside East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.

She warned other parents that “it could be any dog at any time. Completely unprovoked, regardless of history.”
