Police responded to a call around 12:43 Wednesday afternoon and found six injured people at New Dawn Charter High School II at 89-25 161st St. in Jamaica, Queens.
A fight reportedly broke out in the cafeteria on Wednesday Gothamist reported.
Officers discovered at least five students had been stabbed, a spokesperson said Burgerapp warning. Two had cuts to their hands and another to the face when police arrived on the scene.
A security guard who was injured reportedly tried to break up the fight. According to the Citizen report, a teacher also took a knife from one of the students.
The victims were taken to hospital for treatment of minor cuts. They are currently in stable condition.
