The plane had taken off from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas and crashed near French Valley Airport in Murrieta, California at around 4:15 a.m. Saturday. KTLA.
The plane burst into flames as it crashed and video of the scene showed the cargo hull.
The flight was a Cessna C550 business jet.
There was no word on the cause of the crash or the names of the people who died.

The plane reportedly crashed around 4:15 a.m. as it made its second approach to the runway
“Deputies have found a plane completely engulfed,” the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said of the crash. “Six occupants of the aircraft were located and pronounced dead at the scene.”
It took firefighters about an hour to extinguish the thicket that arose after the plane crashed, officials said.
The National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the incident.
“Preliminary information indicates … that the aircraft crashed near French Valley Airport on second approach at approximately 4:15 a.m.,” an NTSB spokesman said.
There was no word on the cause of the crash or the names of the people who died.

“There were four occupants on the plane, three were transported by ground ambulance (one with minor, one with moderate, and one with serious injuries) and one victim was killed at the scene,” the Riverside County Fire Department said at the time.
