Six in ten voters say Biden, 81, should NOT run for president in 2024, and almost HALF of Democrats say it is ‘not too late’ for him to be replaced as their nominee, stunning Daily Mail poll reveals

Six in 10 voters, including nearly a third of Democrats, say Joe Biden should not run for president in 2024, according to an exclusive poll from DailyMail.com/JL Partners.

In a further alarming sign for Biden, nearly half of Democrats say it is not too late for the 81-year-old to be replaced as their party's nominee.

The extensive survey found that 60 percent believe Biden should not seek re-election, while only 34 percent say he should, and six percent have no opinion.

Perhaps the most troubling revelation for the White House will be that even 29 percent of Democrats say Biden should not run, while 64 percent say he should.

The latest set of alarming results for the Biden administration comes less than 24 hours after a DailyMail.com poll showed Donald Trump leading by four points nationally.

In a further alarming sign for Biden, nearly half of Democrats say it is not too late for the 81-year-old to be replaced as their party's nominee.

The results for male and female voters were virtually identical, the poll found.

It showed that Biden's support among young voters has collapsed, with 68 percent of under 30-year-olds saying he should not run again, the most of any age group.

In each age group, more than 50 percent of voters said he should drop out of the race.

The majority of both graduates and non-graduates also agreed.

There were signs that Biden was losing support in his Democratic base, with 59 percent of Hispanic voters and 49 percent of Black voters saying he should not be the nominee.

And there were even more worrying signs for the president: 65 percent of independent voters said he should not run, while only 26 percent said he should.

Winning independents will be crucial if Biden is to defeat likely Republican nominee Donald Trump in 2024.

In 2020, independents voted 54-41 in favor of Biden over Trump, but that advantage now appears to be in jeopardy.

The poll found that more Democrats believe it is not too late to dump Biden than those who think the time has passed.

It found that 44 percent of Democrats think it is not too late, while 42 percent say it is.

Among independents, 66 percent said it was not too late to replace Biden, and 71 percent of Republicans agreed.

Majorities of white, Hispanic and black voters all agreed that it was not too late to find another Democratic candidate.

Biden trails Trump in the Daily Mail polls

“Voters continue to have serious doubts about Joe Biden's ability to mount another presidential campaign,” said Scarlett Maguire, managing director of JL Partners pollsters. “An astonishing six in 10 say Biden should not run for the Oval Office next year, including one in three Democrats.

“There are clear concerns about the president's age and his time in office.”

She said Biden was seen as “kinder” and “more caring” than Trump but is seriously lagging behind when it comes to “strength” and “getting things done.”

The two men are neck-and-neck on whether voters think they have a good record.
