Sister Wives star Kody Brown reveals major regret about polygamy after being dumped by three wives
Sister Wives star Kody Brown continued to grapple with the collapse of his polygamous family in the new season 19 mid-season trailer.
The TV personality, 55, told his last remaining wife Robyn, 45, that he felt “slap in the face by polygamy” after his other three wives, Christine, 52, Janelle, 55, and Meri, 53, left him in a teaser clip shared by People.
The confession takes place during a Valentine’s Day dinner with Robyn, after she asks him, “So you’re okay with it being just you and me this Valentine’s Day?”
“He’s very angry,” Robyn tells the cameras, adding, “It’s killing me.”
He is later seen discussing his future with Robyn, asking her, “Will you accept me as monogamous?”
“It’s not what I wanted,” Robyn can be heard saying.

He told his last remaining wife Robyn, 45, that he felt “a slap in the face by polygamy” after his other three wives, Christine, 52, Janelle, 55, and Meri, 53, left him (they are seen in 2010).
Meanwhile, a frustrated Kody tells the cameras, “This is the end of this family right here, right now.”
Elsewhere in the clip, Meri’s friends seem curious about her personal life, asking her if she’s “fucked men,” causing her to burst out laughing.
“Ever since he married Robyn, she hasn’t wanted anyone else but you,” his friend tells her.
Meanwhile, Mari says in a confessional, “Maybe I did something wrong.”
Elsewhere in the trailer, she confesses to her friend that “dating is fun” and that she’s “kind of dated.”
“Definitely not interested in polygamy anymore,” Meri adds.
Meanwhile, Christine is seen going wedding dress shopping following her engagement to David Woolley.
The blushing bride tries on a lace dress as her friends cheer her on.
Janelle is heard commenting, “It’s a beginning again. It’s a very big change.’

Meanwhile, a frustrated Kody tells the cameras, “This is the end of this family right here, right now.”
She says she’s looking forward to new beginnings and a move from Flagstaff, Arizona as she packs a U-Haul truck.
“I love Flagstaff. It’s time to do something different.’
Kody comments on the move in a confessional: “I don’t know how to explain this. I was never supposed to know Janelle was moving.”
Janelle is then pictured sharing a drink at a bar with Christine and David as she discusses moving to North Carolina.
“If for some reason this fails, it will be a lot of work,” she says.
Meri and Janelle then express their concerns about the division of their land, with Janelle telling her former sister wife in a video chat, “I’ll probably get a lawyer because I think he can just drag his feet if he wants to.”
Meri tells cameras, “I put money into it. I’m going to do my part.’
Meanwhile, Kody tells a friend, “I think they’re worried about whether I’ll be honest or not. A divorce only robs all trust.’

Meri and Janelle are then seen walking around a piece of land, with Janelle saying, “It’s so wrong that we have to do this.”
“I’m so angry,” Meri adds.
The scene then switches to Kody discussing the “special” land and saying, “I don’t want to sell it.”
“Just give us what’s ours and we’ll move on,” Janelle tells the cameras.
‘What else is he going to do? Like, he can’t really hurt me,” she tells Meri.
The clip ends with someone crashing on an ATV.
In 2018, Kody purchased a lot in nearby Coyote Pass for $820,000, on which he originally planned to build five homes.
His 2021 divorce from Christine, his late 2022 divorce from Janelle, and the end of his marriage to Mari in early 2023 likely influenced the feasibility of his plan.
After their divorce, Christine transferred her ownership interest in Coyote Pass to Kody and his remaining wives, and now that he has sold his home in Flagstaff with Robyn, it is unclear whether he still plans to develop his large estate.
Kody married his first three wives in quick succession. He married Meri in 1990, followed by Janelle in 1993 and Christine in 1994.
His marriage to Robyn was in 2010, 16 years after his last union.
Christine was the first of the women to end her marriage to Kody, and she has since married David.

Janelle wasn’t far behind and in December 2022, she announced her divorce from Koday.
Just a month later, in January 2023, Meri announced that she had also divorced Kody, leaving Robyn as his only remaining wife.
The extended family was rocked by tragedy in March of this year when Kody and Janelle’s son Garrison Brown took his own life.
