‘We’ll all dance under the stars’: Sir Rod Stewart announces six-date summer tour in ‘estates, castles and stadiums’ across the UK
Following his celebrated string of UK tour dates in 2022, Sir Rod Stewart has announced a new series of special summer shows.
The legendary artist will kick off the six-date tour at Plymouth’s Home Park Stadium on Saturday 24 June and conclude with an unmissable show at Edinburgh Castle on Thursday 6 July.
The UK summer tour dates form part of his Global Hits Tour and will be packed with sensational classics and fan favorites from his impressive decades-long career.
“My favorite memories have been summer nights with a beer or two together with the best fans in the world,” Sir Rod, 78, said of the string of dates.
‘I am looking forward to this summer playing in a variety of special places – football, cricket and rugby stadiums, estates and castles. We will all dance under the stars.
Back on the road: Following his celebrated series of UK tours in 2022, Sir Rod Stewart has announced a new series of special summer shows.
Returning to Edinburgh Castle for the first time in 13 years, Sir Rod is also revisiting Plymouth, Durham and Hull for some long overdue shows and will make his first appearances at Northampton and Badminton.
Their concert at the Badminton Estate will be the first time the Estate has opened its doors to live events and it will be a unique and magical evening.
However, the singer has no plans to perform at the King’s Coronation concert on May 7 after previously performing for the Queen’s Jubilee celebration in 2022.
The show will take place on the grounds of Windsor Castle, while the coronation will see ‘musical icons and contemporary stars’ join the following day at Westminster Abbey in London.
But Sir Rod admits that he will be performing in Las Vegas, while his wife Penny Lancaster is attending the event as part of her role as a special agent.

He said Mirror: ‘I think I have exhausted my royal welcome. I think I’ll leave it to someone else. I’ll be in Vegas. But my wife will be on duty as a policewoman.
The singer recently paid tribute to legendary guitarist Jeff Beck when he attended the late guitarist’s funeral in south London.
Sir Rod penned a moving written note to accompany a beautiful display of flowers, which were delivered at the funeral.
Describing Jeff as a “guitar genius”, he noted that it was a “privilege” to have performed alongside the star.
The Yardbirds star passed away ‘peacefully’ on January 11, aged 78, after contracting bacterial meningitis. He and Rod performed together within The Jeff Beck Group, which was founded in 1967 and featured the latter as lead vocalist.
