Sir Ringo Starr celebrated his 84th birthday with his wife Barbara Bach on Sunday when he hosted his annual Peace and Love birthday party in Los Angeles.
The Beatles star made his famous peace gesture as he celebrated his milestone birthday with his family and friends, accompanied by musical tributes.
The musician – whose real name is Richard Starkey – looked younger than ever, wearing a trendy white denim jacket and a printed T-shirt.
Ringo wore striped sweatpants and a number of peace pins, and donned his usual tinted sunglasses.
He was accompanied by his wife of 43 years, Barbara, 77, a model and actress best known for her starring role in the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me.

She looked effortlessly chic in a black polka-dotted shirt as she and Ringo posed with her sister Marjorie Bach and her Eagles guitarist husband Joe Walsh.
Joe was seen on stage with Ringo, addressing the crowd and encouraging everyone to make double peace signs during the traditional ‘Peace and Love’ shout.
On social media, Ringo was inundated with birthday wishes from his fans and famous friends, including Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney.
The 82-year-old singer shared a photo on Instagram of him and Ringo sitting front row at his daughter Stella’s show during Paris Fashion Week in March.
Paul added that it was also his father’s birthday, writing: ‘Happy Birthday Ringo and my Dad! I hope Sir Richard Starkey has a fantastic day.’
Many of Paul’s children also paid tribute to ‘Uncle Ringo’, including fashion designer Stella, while fellow musicians Diane Warren and Toto’s Steve Lukather also posted messages.
Paul’s son James posted a selfie with Ringo and wrote sweetly: ‘Ringo plays the drums so eloquently. I’ve known him since I was a kid and he’s Uncle Ringo to me. Happy birthday @ringostarrmusic!’

This came after Ringo was honored with a Legacy Award at the Musicians Hall of Fame ceremony in Nashville in September.
He was inducted as one of the first recipients of the Joe Chambers Musicians Legacy Award into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum.
Ringo, Paul, John and George Harrison rose to fame as members of the iconic rock band The Beatles and became the best-selling music group of all time.
Although the band was formed in 1960, Ringo was the last to join in 1962, replacing drummer Pete Best, affectionately known as ‘the fifth Beatle’.
He and Barbara met on the set of the film Caveman in 1980 and married the following year at Marylebone Town Hall.
Ringo has three children from his first marriage to Maureen Cox, whom he divorced in 1975 and who died in 1994 from complications of leukemia.
Through his two sons, Zak, 58, Jason, 56, and daughter Lee, 53, he has eight grandchildren and one great-grandson, making him the oldest Beatle great-grandfather.
