Sir Ringo Starr ccelebrates turning 83 at his Peace & Love celebration
Sir Ringo Starr appeared in good spirits as he attended a photocall for his annual Peace and Love birthday celebration in Beverly Hills, California, on Friday.
The former Beatle stepped out with his wife Barbara Bach, 75, in Los Angeles when he turned 83 the same day.
He had a casual figure and wore a black T-shirt with a red and white motif on the front under a blue jacket with camouflage print.
He chose a pair of black Adidas track pants with white stripes down the side.
The musician completed his look by wearing a pair of comfortable black and white trainers while hiding his eyes behind dark sunglasses.

He stood next to his American actress wife Barbara Bach, 75, who wore the same T-shirt as her famous husband.
She was wearing a black jacket and black track pants with red stripes.
The pair were joined by Barbara’s sister Marjorie Bach and her Eagles guitarist husband Joe Walsh.
It comes after Sir Ringo completed his postponed 22-date tour with his All Starr Band, which he previously canceled after facing COVID-19 for a second time in 2022.
The legendary sticksman insisted he’s never found touring or performing live “grueling.”
He recently said at a press conference in Los Angeles before starting the tour, “We’ve been running the whole show and I feel ready to rock.

It’s not a grueling game. It has never been debilitating. I like playing. I like playing with these guys.’
On his stamina, he continued, “I didn’t think about it. I was just doing it.
“Yeah, it’s been a long time… I mean, 34 years with a few years off because of the pandemic, but it’s what I do.
“I love to play and I love to play with great musicians and I love to play great songs, and I get all that from these guys.”
In fact, the Let it Be hitmaker asked for fewer days off between shows on the tour.
He added: ‘I don’t want to sit in the hotel for three days and relax, I want to go out and play.
‘That’s just how I am, I just like to do it.
“With this band it’s great because you know everyone is carrying the weight.”

On how he got the 75-year-old Grammy winner involved, he shared, “I asked [Burnett] to help us.
‘[I said] if he has time and wants to do it… Well, he wanted to do it, and he sent me, I promise you, one of the most beautiful country songs I’ve heard in a long time. It’s very old school country. It is beautiful. So I was like, ‘Hey, I’m going to make a country EP!’
One of the other EPs is a collaboration with legendary singer-songwriter Linda Perry, who wrote hits for Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani.
He said, ‘I finished one [EP] just before I started rehearsing.
“We got to know each other and I love her.
‘She’s just great. She said, “Oh, Ringo, let me do it.”

‘[I said] “Okay, do what you do.” All I’m going to do on that EP is drum and sing.’
On his decision to scrap the album format, he added: ‘I actually meet and work with people I’ve never worked with, which I’ve always found exciting.
“I just felt EPs, you could seriously look at it and you can do it in a month.
“An album takes longer, so (EPs are) what I’ve been doing.”
