And on Sunday, Sir Paul McCartney was all smiles as he kissed his fans goodbye as he left his Sydney hotel after playing two sold-out concerts.
The 81-year-old former Beatle appeared cheerful, waving and blowing kisses to fans camped outside the Park Hyatt hoping to catch a glimpse of the star.
The British rocker was dressed in a blue button-up shirt which he paired with a navy blue jacket.
For the nostalgic show, which featured Beatles songs such as Can’t Buy Me Love, Got To Get You Into My Life and Love Me Do, Sir Paul played a classic Hofner bass, which he made famous during his days with the Fab Four. .

Sir Paul treated fans to some of his most famous songs from every part of his career during the show, including hits he wrote with his band Wings.
Fans heard the 1973 hit single Jet, which he recorded with his band Wings, the group he founded after the Beatles broke up in 1970, as well as other well-known songs such as Something and Band on the Run.
He performed 39 songs in the show, which lasted almost three hours, including Get Back, Birthday and Carry That Weight.
