‘Sir Alex came in and he was so angry he hit the table and spilled our tea everywhere. He was completely red. Mino was completely angry. It was a disaster’.

As well as reflecting on the meeting with Ferguson, Pimenta also spoke about her close relationship with former Manchester United star Paul Pogba.

She revealed how she was instrumental in the midfielder’s record-breaking move from Man United to Juventus and how she and Raiola orchestrated it so that the fee would exceed that of Gareth Bale’s transfer from Tottenham to Real Madrid in 2013.

She explained: ‘When Paul Pogba was transferred back to Manchester United (from Juventus in 2016) I said to Mino: ‘We have to fix the fee on Bale plus one euro’.

‘Mino said, ‘Why?’ and I said: ‘So we can break Jonathan Barnett’s world record (the agent who negotiated the transfer of Gareth Bale from Spurs to Real Madrid for €100 million). It should only be one euro more than Bale.’ In the end it was more’.

Pogba and Pimenta have an extremely close relationship, with the football agent present for all the key events in his established career.

‘I will always be there for Paul. He is part of my life and I am grateful for the way he treated me and always gave us respect,” Pimenta explains.

β€œHe is an amazing person who has evolved so much because I met him as a child. He is now a father, with three children. So he has changed so much and he will grow even more.
