A 40-year-old Mormon mother who says she was “shunned” by the religious community for sharing cheeky snaps online now claims to have received a letter saying she has officially “withdrawn” from the church.

The mother opened up about the lengthy letter she received from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, stating that her membership would be terminated for “conduct contrary to the laws and order of the Church.”
“I don’t think I’m doing anything wrong,” she said.
“I knew there was a possibility that I would be excommunicated, but I thought there would be another form of reprimand. I was surprised they were so strict.’
And while she was surprised by the letter, Holly revealed she wouldn’t let it stop her.
She adds that she knows that God “supports” her no matter what, so she will “have a good time.”

“I’m a good person and a good mother, it’s all legal and I’m having a good time and working hard.”
The mother-of-four noted that her local bishop was made aware of her account after a fellow churchgoer “brought her out.”

And while she was surprised by the letter, she revealed she wouldn’t let it stop her
He then visited her house in an attempt to convince her to stop.
“He lives under a rock and called me a prostitute,” Holly explained.
“He said you had to choose between your career and your membership in the Church.”
Unable to convince him that she was posting with “God’s support,” she avoided the bishop, but soon received word that the “council” would meet to discuss next steps.
“I was made aware there was a meeting, but I didn’t go because I had nothing to say that might sway them in my favor,” Holly said.
“I’m not stopping and I don’t agree that it affects people in the church.”
The letter informing her that she had been excommunicated from the church and that her membership had been revoked then arrived in the mail.
Although the letter was sent last year, she claimed she had only just received it.
Holly said she was given 30 days to appeal.
‘We have determined that your membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been revoked,” the letter read.

“Those whose membership in the Church has been revoked may not enjoy the privileges of membership.
“However, they are encouraged to attend Church meetings and activities if they behave in an orderly manner.”
Holly claimed it was “very rare” for a membership to be revoked.
“It’s rare for someone to lose their membership,” she added.
“It’s like the pope texts you and says ‘you’re done.'”
After the church that terminated her, Holly has revealed that she felt “lost” and didn’t know how to tell her daughters.
“My daughters keep asking to meet people and go to church,” she said.

“I don’t understand why it has anything to do with my membership—because I take my clothes off online, I’m no longer allowed to participate in church benefits, partake of the sacrament, or enter the temple.”
