A woman who married a ghost has criticized her husband for “ruining” their honeymoon on Barry Island, Wales.

Singer Brocarde, 38, accused her non-corporeal boyfriend of never paying the bill, because he “obviously doesn’t have a bank card”, and of trying to play with her on the beach.

The Oxfordshire artist, who insists she is in love with the ghost of a Victorian soldier named Ewardo, has also accused him of drinking too much alcohol.

she told the daily star: ‘Edwardo thought I was being passionate and romantic by getting down on the ground to play in the sand, but I was trying to share my ice cream with him and it went everywhere, all over my face, in my hair and of course the sand it stuck to it, so it looked like I had fought with a giant seagull.

Brocarde admitted the honeymoon should have been ‘incredible’ but was instead ‘ruined’ by her unpredictable lover hitting the mini bar hard.

“Liquor bottles are always left mysteriously empty, plus the gin bottle is always left standing, obviously he’s not that partial to that ethos,” she stated.

The newlywed also revealed that Edwardo “suggested ordering 12 bottles of the best champagne for the room” when they arrived at the hotel, knowing full well that the bill would fall on her.

Last week, he shared a video of the couple exchanging their vows on Instagram.

Brocarde can be heard saying ‘Yes, I do’ in the clip and answering ‘he does’ to her boyfriend, during the moving ceremony.

While it’s unclear what Edwardo chose to wear for her big day, Brocarde opted for a gothic black dress and veil, with the venue festooned with a series of romantic candles.

It comes as, in October, Brocarde left This Morning viewers in hysterics after she claimed her phantom lover appeared on set with her.

Halfway through her interview with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, Brocarde screamed and revealed that Edwardo was ‘here’, on set with her.

She added that the spirit, who once ‘ghosted’ her for a week, was not happy with her talking about him on TV, and that he did not like Phillip Schofield.

Viewers and hosts of the show, including Alison Hammond, who was heard laughing in the background during Brocarde’s segment, were amused by the spiritual singer’s offbeat love story.

Dressed in a black wedding dress, Brocarde, who claims to have met Edwardo during a thunderstorm while struggling to sleep following a disagreement with a friend, said she was looking forward to getting married.

As her interview began, she suddenly yelled, causing Holly Willoughby, who was dressed as Wednesday Adams, to jump.

She was seen holding the bridal crown that tied her black veil to her head and claimed that Edwardo had hit her.

‘He’s here,’ she said.

Immediately, Phil, who was dressed as Uncle Fester, began to move around the couch, pointing out that he “couldn’t see it.”

Brocarde then told Phil that Edwardo “doesn’t like you,” to which the host replied, “Well, that’s fair, I’m not marrying him.”

“Sorry, can be rude sometimes,” Brocarde apologized.

Resuming the conversation about the wedding, he admitted that he found it difficult to find a church that would marry them.

‘Because I think there is a little problem with religion and the afterlife. Not all priests believe…’

As she spoke, ‘Edwardo’ hit her helmet yet again, with the singer accusing him of ‘ruining her wedding day by making her look like a jerk on TV’.

‘Maybe you don’t like it. Do you think that’s a sign? she asked Phil and Holly.

“Well, the last time you came on and talked about him on the show, he ghosted you for a week,” Phil said, and Brocarde agreed: “He ghosted me for a week.”

This statement made Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson, who were waiting for the next segment dressed as Morticia Addams and Lurch, laugh in the background.

“Perhaps he doesn’t approve of being talked about,” Brocarde continued.

Phil was determined to get the spirit to play a trick on him and asked, ‘Edwardo, I’m wondering if there’s a way you can make my script move or…something?

Is there anything you can do, Edward? Can you light candles for Brocarde? he asked her.

“He said not to test it,” Brocarde said.

The then-wife-to-be said she hoped Edwardo was still standing at the altar after his appearance on This Morning, to which Phil deadpanned, “How will you know?”

She replied, ‘Well, I’ll feel your presence.’

Brocarde revealed that she did not believe in ghosts before “meeting” Edwardo, but the spirit changed her.

‘I had tears running down my face. It was really intense, and I think it was the fact that it was so intense that turned me on.’
