Simu Liu steps out in three fashionable suits while hosting the 2024 People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles

Three years after winning his first People’s Choice Award for Action Movie Star, Simu Liu took the stage to host this year’s ceremony.

The 34-year-old actor was seen on stage all night in three different stylish suits.

His hosting gig came a few months after he was seen at the Game Awards wearing an ankle brace after revealing he had ruptured his Achilles tendon.

Liu’s first suit was shown on the red carpet, an all-maroon suit, without a tie.

His light purple shirt was slightly unbuttoned, leaving a gold Fernando Jorge chain dangling around his neck, while a brown watch peeked out from his jacket.

He was spotted on the red carpet posing with his girlfriend Allison Hsu, along with his Barbie co-star America Ferrera.

His next look was on stage, wearing an ice blue suit jacket, but this time without a shirt or tie.

The Marvel star also wore another necklace in the arena with this ice blue suit sans shirt and tie.

He completed his second look with matching ice blue pants for his first stage look of the evening.

Liu’s third look was a dark blue suit jacket with a light pink shirt, also slightly unbuttoned, revealing a dangling chain.

He completed his latest look with matching dark blue trousers for the annual event, which he attended for the first time in 2021.

He won the Action Movie Star award for his portrayal of the title character in Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

The Marvel star, 34 – who recently pulled out of a Disney event due to “health concerns” – tore his Achilles tendon in October.

Although he was feeling well on Thursday, Simu announced last week that he was withdrawing from Disney World’s Candlelight Processional after suffering “health issues.”

“I am so devastated to have to pull out of this year’s Candlelight Processional at Disney World,” the Barbie star, 34, wrote in a statement on his Instagram Stories.

“For those who were looking forward to seeing me, know that I was just as looking forward to being a part of your holiday,” continued the actor – who recently enjoyed a date night with girlfriend Allison Hsu.

‘The health of myself and my family is of the utmost importance to me. After all, that’s the spirit of this season! And so, after some health issues, I made the difficult decision to stay home.”

“Something tells me this isn’t the last you’ll see of me at Candlelight… let’s all keep our fingers crossed for 2024!”
