Simone Holtznagel marks major milestone with daughter Gia after revealing she is tackling motherhood alone following split from Jono Castano
Simone Holtznagel has posted a video on social media of a heartwarming milestone she shared with her new baby.
The short clip shows the 31-year-old genetically blessed model taking a dip in a pool with her five-month-old daughter Gia.
At one point, the affectionate mother is seen kissing the little sprout’s forehead as she guides the baby across the water’s surface.
Simone also shared a black and white photo in her Instagram post showing her holding the baby against her chest.
In the adorable photo, Gia, dressed in a striped swimsuit, appears to be enjoying her dip.
Simone called the fun video ‘swimming lessons’.
For her visit to the baths, Simone wore a dark swimsuit and her hair in a bun.
This came after she recently criticized her ex-boyfriend Jono Castano.

The former couple split acrimoniously just months after announcing Gia’s birth in April.
Simone, who is raising their daughter alone, told Stellar Magazine she “couldn’t change” the man she thought she loved.
“I wanted to be an example for my daughter; that’s something that changed for me. One day I thought, ‘What am I doing? This is not right.’ And I would hate for her to ever be in that situation,” she said.
“You gotta do what’s right for you at the end of the day. No matter how many promises or whatever people make, if they show you who they are, believe them. Because you can’t change people.”
Simone said she’s fine raising her five-month-old baby, Gia, on her own and is confident she made the right choice.
“I’ve never felt more confident about anything. And I know I can do it myself. It’s a shame that I have to do most of it myself, but I really couldn’t think any other way,” she said.
“What I’m doing just feels really good to me. The most important thing to me is that Gia is happy and healthy, and that I’m happy too,” Simone continued.
“Because I’m a firm believer that if the mother is unhappy, it’s hard to have a happy child. And I feel like Gia is a reflection of me at this point, because she’s just a very content and happy little bubba.”

In May, Jono confirmed that he and Simone had decided to split, just nine weeks after the birth of baby Gia.
“Who knows what the future holds, our idea is just to be the best parents for Gia at this time,” he said in a statement to Ny Breaking Australia at the time.
A close friend of the couple subsequently revealed that it had been unlikely for some time that Simone and Jono’s relationship would end.
A source told The Daily Telegraph that several friends and family members had warned Simone that her modelling life would not be compatible with Jono’s career as a fitness influencer.
The first sign of trouble came when Jono posted photos of himself on a luxury holiday in Thailand, just days after Gia’s birth on March 31, without Simone and their baby.
