Simone Holtznagel has gushed about her newborn daughter Gia in an adorable new post.

The Australian model, 30, and her partner Jono Castano welcomed their first child, Gia, on Easter Sunday and have since been sharing updates about their lives as new parents.

And on Thursday, Simone took to Instagram to share a gallery of sweet snaps of herself cuddling her beloved one-month-old baby.

In the photos, proud mother Simone beamed from ear to ear as she lovingly gazed at her daughter, who was sweetly wrapped in a blanket in her arms.

Simone looked stylish in a satin blouse as she enjoyed an early Mother’s Day lunch ahead of the party on May 12, which will be her first since welcoming Gia.

In an accompanying caption, Simone gushed lovingly about her little one as she wrote, “All my heart [love heart emoji].’

She added in another post to her Stories that Gia had been “perfect” on the day out.

Her latest post comes after Simone revealed the poignant meaning behind her daughter’s name.

Simone recently opened up about how the nickname Gia is a nod to supermodel Gia Carangi, who tragically died of AIDS in 1986.

Carangi became one of fashion’s most sought-after models and a fixture at the legendary Studio 54 nightclub after moving to New York in 1977.

She was one of the first openly gay fashion icons, often frequenting DCA, a gay club in the city where she met Sharon Beverley, one of her first long-term partners.

Her life was played out on screen twelve years after her death, with a young Angelina Jolie taking on the role of the troubled model in the 1998 film Gia.

Simone said the couple have not ruled out naming their next child after her late mentor and Australia’s Next Top Model judge Charlotte Dawson, who died in 2014.

“Lottie was on our shortlist, so if we have another baby, that could be that,” she told Stellar magazine.

‘After Charlotte died I had a lot of her clothes, including this Camilla kaftan.

‘My mother’s best friend cut it up and made a baby blanket for me. She gave it to me at my baby shower and I cried with tears in my eyes, so that’s super special.”

Simone confirmed she had given birth to her daughter in a post shared on Instagram earlier this month.

She revealed that Gia was born on Easter Sunday, March 31, and posted a series of adorable photos of herself and Jono with their baby daughter.

“On Sunday, March 31, we welcomed our healthy baby girl Gia Holtznagel Castano into the world,” she wrote in the caption.

‘We are completely in love with her and are enjoying three of these special moments as a family.’

Simone went public with her romance with personal trainer Jono in 2022 and they announced they were expecting their first child together in October.
