Simone Biles is heading to her third Olympics, and this time she has husband Jonathan Owens by her side.
The 27-year-old, the most decorated gymnast in history, secured her place on Team USA this weekend ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Owens was there to support his wife, the four-time Olympic gold medalist, and gave her a standing ovation after her floor exercise.
‘We are going to Paris. Man I’m so proud,” the Chicago Bears safety wrote on Instagram on Sunday after TV cameras showed him jumping up and cheering for the famed athlete at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
Biles earned an all-around score of 117.225, ahead of Sunisa Lee and Jordan Chiles, who finished second and third respectively.

Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera rounded out the top five, while Joscelyn Roberson and Leanne Wong also join the squad as traveling replacement athletes.
At the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, Biles withdrew from the all-around finals to focus on her mental health, choosing to see a therapist weekly.
“After the performances in Tokyo, I knew I wasn’t done yet,” Biles told NBC.
“So just get back in the gym, work hard and trust the process. … I knew I would come back,” she added.

The gymnast will also have A-lister Taylor Swift cheering her on.
The pop megastar was stunned when Biles used her song “Ready For It” during her floor routine.
In response to images shared by the NBC Olympics account on X, Swift wrote: “Watched this so many times and still not done. She’s ready.’
She and Owens, who began dating at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, married just over a year ago, in 2023.
“I do. Officially Owens,” Biles captioned a series of photos at the time,
“This is your cue to marry your best friend.”
Her friend agreed, adding, “My person, forever.”
