Simone Biles has once again risked the wrath of Chicago Bears fans after naming Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love one of her favorite NFL players.
The gymnastics legend — who is married to Bears safety Jonathan Owens — sparked outrage at an NFL preseason game last summer by wearing a custom Packers jacket that depicted her husband in his former team’s jersey.
Given the fierce rivalry between the two franchises, Biles was criticized by Bears fans for wearing the jacket just months after Owens left Green Bay and signed a two-year contract in Chicago.
And it’s unlikely that Soldier Field will be happy with her latest comments about Love.
During a performance at the Not just football with Cam Heyward podcast, Biles was asked which NFL players impressed her the most — and the Packers quarterback got a special mention.

The seven-time Olympic gold medalist initially said, “Other than my husband, because he has broken stigmas that are not typical, I really think we always go back to Patrick Mahomes, a freak of nature.
‘How does he always pull it off? The Chiefs can’t be there anymore and he’s just a miracle worker.”
She then added, “But we also loved being with Jordan Love last season, such a breakout star, and that was super exciting.”
Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Heyward then pointed out that Biles risked angering Bears fans by praising a Packers player.
“You can’t hate them when you’re gone!” she argued. “You still have so much respect for the team.”
After receiving criticism from Bears fans last summer, Biles admitted she won’t make the same fashion mistake twice.
She told me TMZ shortly after the incident she has had ‘enough’ [of Bears gear] now,” meaning the Packers jacket is no longer needed.

Owens played one season in Green Bay before transferring from Lake Michigan to Chicago earlier this year.
The NFL player, who married Biles in April 2023 after meeting three years earlier, was given time off from Chicago training camp this summer to watch his wife at the Olympics in Paris.
Biles cemented her legacy as the most decorated American gymnast of all time in the French capital after winning a further three gold medals and one silver medal, bringing her Olympic medal total to 11.
