Simone Biles reveals superb reason behind wearing a GOAT necklace after winning ANOTHER Olympic gold: ‘Haters hate it, so I love it even more’

Simone Biles revealed the reason behind her iconic GOAT necklace after adding another Olympic gold medal to her resume.

On Tuesday, the 27-year-old Olympic athlete won gold in the all-around at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. After her victory, she showed off a silver necklace with a goat pendant.

When the most decorated gymnast was asked about her statement piece, she said it was a memory for her during the Games.

“It’s an ode. A lot of people call me the GOAT, so I thought it would be really special if I got one made,” Biles said. “And the haters hate it, so I love it even more.

“It’s just a special part of me that I have here, like in the village – I have a stuffed goat, just to remind myself. You can go there, you can do it, you’ve done it before. So let’s go.”

Biles’ performance left no room for debate in the GOAT conversation, as she claimed her ninth Olympic medal and sixth gold medal. The tally would have been higher had she not withdrawn from the 2021 Tokyo Games.

Yet Biles’ redemption story continued in convincing fashion as she defeated Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade and her American teammate Suni Lee, who won silver and bronze respectively.

After narrowly beating her Brazilian rival on the vault, Biles was furious after botching a change on the uneven bars, briefly ceding the lead to Andrade.

She was visibly annoyed as she walked off stage, with replays showing her shouting “F**k” at her coach.

However, the Olympic legend soon proved why she is one of the best ever by scoring 14.566 on the beam and 15.066 on the floor to snatch victory from Andrade.

In addition to her individual gold medal, Biles also took home the top spot on the podium in the team event with Team USA earlier this week.
