Simone Biles’ husband Jonathan Owens reveals when gymnast will next attend one of his Bears games… as she misses clash against Texans

Simone Biles was unable to cheer on her husband Jonathan Owens for the second week in a row on Sunday.

The Olympic superstar was unable to watch from the stands as the Chicago Bears took on the Houston Texans in her home state in preparation for the start of her Gold Over America tour on Monday.

Although the gymnast missed the first two games of the NFL season, Owens assured fans it won’t be long before they see her on the sidelines.

Owens, who married the Olympic legend last year, revealed that Biles will appear at Solider Field as early as this month.

“She’s here on the 29th,” the safety told the Chicago Bears’ YouTube channel. “She has a tour stop here that night at 7 o’clock. It’s perfect. So she can come to the game at noon and then, boom, I can watch her at 7 o’clock. It’s quite a turnaround.”

The Bears were in Houston on Sunday night for their Week 2 game, but Owens explained that it would have been nearly impossible for Biles to make such a sprint home from California.

“Her tour starts Monday and we’re playing Sunday night, so it’s going to be tough getting back to California after that,” he said.

But he did take into account that the seven-time Olympic gold medalist would watch him from a distance.

Biles told fans that she won’t be able to attend as many of her husband’s NFL games this season because of her post-Olympics commitments.

She will kick off her Gold Over America Tour on September 16, after parting ways with Owens earlier this month, who returned to Chicago for the season kickoff.

The tour, a traveling gymnastics exhibition featuring a host of gymnasts’ stars, including Biles and her gold-winning U.S. teammates Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles and Hezly Rivera, kicks off September 16 in Oceanside, California.

There will be 30 stops in the United States, finishing in Detroit on November 3, which coincides with Week 9 of the NFL schedule, the midpoint of the regular season.

Although Biles couldn’t support her NFL boyfriend in person last week, she still supported him in spirit.

With the Bears trailing 17-3 with nine minutes left in the third quarter, the special teams player scored the first touchdown of the season and the second of his career.

Responding to a clip of the play on X, formerly known as Twitter, the gymnastics icon wrote: “I ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK.”

She also shared the clip on her Instagram Story, adding, “LFG!! TOUCHDOWN FOR MAN.”
