Simone Biles’ husband Jonathan Owens reveals he got a tattoo to honor the gymnast after she secured her spot on Team USA

Simone Biles’ husband got a new tattoo in honor of his wife.

After securing her spot on Team USA for the third time, the Olympic gymnast shared a photo of Jonathan Owens’ ring finger, which featured a tattoo.

On Saturday, Biles posted to Instagram to show off a dainty “S” tattooed on Owens’ finger, which appeared to reference her first name initial.

The 27-year-old added two screaming emojis, a few red hearts and two crossed fingers.

While Owens hasn’t directly commented on the meaning of the body art, he is there to support his wife as she prepares for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The NFL player wore his wife’s face on a T-shirt and a life-size photo of her when he attended the Olympic qualifying games last week.

“There are no words to describe how proud I am of you, sweetheart,” Owens wrote on Instagram after Biles secured her spot on Team USA with a stunning floor routine.

“When you think about all the work you’ve put in and everything you’ve been through and still being as dominant as ever, I’m speechless,” he added in the caption of the post, which features a photo of the couple kissing.

‘I am so grateful to be a part of this journey with you, and I can’t wait to see you there in Paris. I am so happy for you baby!!!!

“Cheers to your third Olympics!!!!!! It sounds so surreal to be able to say my wife is the best to EVER do it, how lucky am I. I love you so much,” he concluded the sweet post.

Owens also posted several photos of the 27-year-old, the most decorated gymnast in history, during a competition at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

Earlier in the day, he gave Biles a standing ovation when she earned a spot on the team for the third time.

“We’re going to Paris. Man I’m so proud,” the Chicago Bears safety wrote on Instagram on Sunday.

This will be the first time Owens, who was temporarily unable to attend the Chicago Bears’ training camp to support his wife, will see her live at the Olympics.

The couple were not a couple when she made her debut at Rio in 2016, while the 2021 Tokyo Olympics were held behind closed doors due to the coronavirus.

The lovebirds, who started dating at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, tied the knot in April 2023.

“My wife is the best thing that has EVER happened how did I get so lucky,” Owens wrote in the lengthy post
