Sienna Miller’s agents accused of ‘airbrushing’ British actress’s CV to get rid her most ‘problematic’ films – including movie where she starred alongside Alec Baldwin

Sienna Miller’s top agents are accused of ‘airbrushing’ her official resume to remove controversial projects and flops.

As the British star continues to be in demand as one of Hollywood’s hottest actresses, sources have pointed out that three of her “problematic” films – including the failed comedy Unfinished Business and the independent drama The Mysteries Of Pittsburgh – were left off the official list on the United Agents website.

Also missing was her role in An Imperfect Murder, in which she starred opposite Alec Baldwin – now a controversial figure after he was tried for involuntary manslaughter after firing a live round on the set of his film Rust, killing a cameraman.

The film’s director, James Toback, who is also a close friend of the actress, accused United Agents of “shyness” and “intolerance” for manipulating her resume to rewrite history.

Referring to An Imperfect Murder, he said: “Sienna is one of the smartest people I know. This film is a beautiful work of art and she has done a tremendous job. The idea that one of these films was accidentally left off her acting resume is disgusting and unbelievable.”

The purpose of the listing on the United Agents website is to advertise the broad scope of an actor’s work to potential casting agents, journalists, fans and bookers. While it’s not a complete archive, it’s notable that it’s largely Ms. Miller’s rare missteps that seem to have gone unmentioned.

The 42-year-old, who made her big breakthrough in British films Layer Cake and Alfie, is now in high demand in Hollywood. She recently appeared opposite Bradley Cooper in Burnt and with Kevin Costner in Horizon: An American Saga.

But not every film has led to praise. Her role in The Mysteries Of Pittsburgh in 2008 sparked a firestorm of controversy after she referred to the filming location as “S**ttsburgh” in an interview.

“Can you believe this is my life?” Miller told Rolling Stone. “Will you feel sorry for me when you’re back in your funky New York apartment and I’m still living in Pittsburgh?” She apologized, insisting her words were due to the fact that the filming took place at night, adding, “What I’ve seen is beautiful.”

Another film missing is the 2015 comedy flop Unfinished Business. The film grossed £11 million, less than half its £27 million budget. Mail film critic Brian Viner described the film as a “puerile mess, laughing like a 10-year-old class clown desperate for popularity.”

An Imperfect Murder has a score of 2.9 out of 10 on film website IMDb. When the newspaper highlighted the omissions last week, United Agents quickly reinstated the missing films, emphasizing that there was “no specific reason” for their omission.
