Sienna Miller reveals why she doesn’t want to be the ‘biggest movie star in the world’ and says she plans to work for ‘the rest’ of her life

Sienna Miller has revealed why she doesn’t want to be the ‘biggest movie star in the world’.

The 42-year-old American-British actress has been working in Hollywood for over twenty years and is best known for her major roles in Layer Cake, Alfie and Factory Girl.

However, Sienna, who recently welcomed her second child, admitted she doesn’t want to be the most famous actress ever, giving a candid insight into her career ambitions.

Despite a staggering estimated net worth of $18 million, Sienna says she has no plans to retire early and wants to work for the rest of her life.

“I don’t have to be the biggest movie star in the world. I love that I get to keep working,” she told this week’s issue of Stellar Magazine.

“I know I’m going to work the rest of my life. I get to do a play, I have a beautiful new baby. Yeah, [I’m] ‘very happy.’

She said she had never felt so “fulfilled” and that her career ambitions lie in working with esteemed directors including Poor Things’ Porgos Lanthimos and Martin Scorsese.

Sienna is currently promoting her new film, Kevin Costner’s western epic Horizon: An American Saga.

Elsewhere in the interview, Sienna reflects on her second motherhood, 12 years after the birth of her first child.

In July 2012, she gave birth to daughter Marlowe with her ex Tom Sturridge and about eight months ago she welcomed another daughter with her boyfriend Oli Green.

She said motherhood feels “completely different” the second time around and that she is grateful she was able to take her baby to work with her.

“I’m a completely different person. People often say a lot about having children at 40 as a woman, but I can’t advocate it enough. I feel very lucky,” she raved.

Model Sienna has just returned to work after maternity leave and says she finds her job and motherhood “equally fulfilling.”

Sienna recently said that the 11-year age difference between her two daughters is “really helpful because one is small and portable, and the other is becoming more independent.”

Sienna, who keeps her family life relatively private, was first spotted with her newborn daughter, whose name she has not revealed, in January.

However, Sienna said that she does not want to become the most famous actress in Hollywood and that she has no plans to retire early and wants to work for the rest of her life.

Sienna and her partner Oli, 27, were first linked in February 2022. She recently spoke highly of their relationship, recalling her relationship with a younger man.

Speaking with Harper’s BazaarSienna said: ‘I didn’t expect to take it seriously and then I fell in love very quickly. I didn’t think, “I’m going to get a younger boyfriend.” It was more, “F*ck! Why are you young? That’s so annoying.”‘

“There is a difference in the way that generation of men respects women. It is specific to him, he is very wise and well-adjusted, but I do believe it is that generation as well.

“They grew up on a slightly more level playing field. I see it with his girlfriends and also with the men.”
