Sickening moment Russian fighter brandishes severed head of Ukrainian soldier impaled on a stake – while Zelensky’s forces blast key bridge with US missiles as their advance into Putin terrain gets even bloodier
A barbaric Russian soldier claims his battalion of Ukrainian soldiers ‘blew heads off’. A disgusting video reportedly shows a severed head impaled on a pole.
The shocking images have been declared a war crime by authorities in Kiev at the United Nations. They are believed to have been taken at a Russian border crossing in the Belgorod region.
Ukrainian troops this week made a failed attempt to break through the Kolotilovka checkpoint in Russia, apparently in an attempt to expand their invasion. Kiev troops have already taken large swaths of territory in the neighboring Kursk region.
Moscow reported today that Kiev has used Western missiles, likely American HIMARS, in the region for the first time, destroying a bridge over the Sejm River. Dramatic footage shows the devastating attack.
The destruction of the key bridge is just another blow to Vladimir Putin. Volodymyr Zelensky’s forces want to disrupt the dictator’s war supply lines and inflict “maximum damage to all Russian positions.”

As Ukraine’s invasion of Russia’s Kursk region enters its twelfth day, Kiev claims to have seized control of 82 settlements covering 1,150 square kilometers.
Russian propaganda is in full swing as Putin’s men desperately try to save face after the surprise attack. They claim that the successful defense of Kolotilovka against Ukrainian marines is a victory and that they want to use it as a warning.
In a chilling video of the aftermath, a Russian soldier from the Pacific Fleet’s 155th Brigade says his unit’s “dead” “greet you, Khokhols” — a derogatory word Russians use for Ukrainians.
“You have made an unforgivable mistake by entering our holy land with your filthy pig hooves,” he threatened. “Today, our pressure has blown a few of your heads off.”
He continued with his sinister threat: ‘It will be the same every time we meet. The dead know no pity. The dead know no fear. The dead come for you, Khokhol.’
Dmytro Lubinets, Ukraine’s human rights commissioner, said he had contacted the UN and the Red Cross about the horrific footage filmed at the Kolotilovka checkpoint.
“The enemy uses such videos to intimidate and demoralize Ukrainians,” he said. “But this only strengthens our desire to hold accountable all those who commit such inhumane atrocities.”
It is unclear how the Ukrainian soldier was beheaded.
On the day this happened – August 12 – another video showed Ukrainian troops tearing through the border at high speed in a Kozak-2 armored vehicle.
The vehicle came to a stop on concrete ‘dragon’s teeth’ barricades and then exploded after a drone strike.
A number of Ukrainian paratroopers escaped alive from the Kozak-2 and were reportedly subsequently “liquidated” by the Russians.

The barbarity concerning the severed head is reportedly the work of the 155th Russian Naval Brigade of the Russian Pacific Fleet. It is known that they were transferred to this part of Russia.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, the 155th Guards Brigade was involved in atrocities, including the killing of civilians earlier in the war in Bucha, Irpen and Hostomel in the Kiev region.
Undeterred by the latest threat, Zelensky called on his forces to continue. In his final video address, he said: “We see that the occupier is suffering losses, and that is useful, very useful for our defense.
‘It’s about destroying the logistics of the Russian army and depleting their reserves.
‘We must inflict as much damage as possible on all Russian positions, and we are doing so.
“I thank each of our fighters for their precision, I thank them for their strength and their resilience.”
Kiev will take heart from the latest successful attack on Russian infrastructure: the destruction of a key bridge over the Seim River, preventing Putin from moving personnel and supplies into the border area.

Photos show the completely destroyed bridge after the alleged HIMARS attack
The bridge in the Glushkovsky district was blown apart by a second impact, after the first attempt had pierced the structure but left it intact. Reports indicate that this is not the only bridge destroyed.
“For the first time, the Kursk region was hit by Western-made rocket launchers, probably the American HIMARS,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Friday evening via the Telegram messaging app.
‘As a result of the attack on the bridge over the Seym River in the Glushkovo district, it was completely destroyed and volunteers helping the evacuated civilian population were killed.’
A desperate post from a pro-war channel said: ‘Part of the Glushkovsky district is now cut off. These are Tyotkino, Popovo-Lezhachi, Volfino and about 27 other settlements.
‘The civilian population can now only be evacuated by water. The enemy is also attacking the bridge in the village of Zvannoye in the Glushkovsky district.’
The blown-up bridge is located about 20 kilometers inside Russia, from the border.
It is a new humiliation for Putin, who has shown himself unable to control his own territory while simultaneously trying to swallow up neighboring Ukraine.
