A Los Angeles squatter took over a Hollywood Hills mansion and created bogus lease agreements to rent rooms to OnlyFans models who trashed the property, a distraught real estate agent claims.
Emily Randall Smith and her husband were checking out the seven-bedroom Hollywood Hills home in January when they noticed something strange in the property.
‘We walked into the building and the key safe was locked. And there was a mailbox that someone had ordered and hung up. Like that was really weird, that wasn’t here before,” Randall Smith said Fox 11.
The couple called police when Randall Smith’s husband walked to the side of the house and found a man sleeping.
The police couldn’t let the man leave, so the couple waited until he left on his own and called the police again. Then they found out that the squatter rented rooms to makers of OnlyFans.

Randall Smith said: ‘There was poop and pee everywhere (pictured). They cut all the cables on all the security systems and installed new WiFi. They were planning to sit there and move there.”
“They knocked on the door and I think a girl answered the door and she ended up being an OnlyFans model and I think the guy who broke into the house started this whole business and rented out these rooms to the girls,” said Randall Smith. said.
Police escorted a woman and her dog from the property, leaving behind piles of trash for Randall Smith and her husband to clean up, but no one was arrested.
‘There was poop and pee everywhere. They cut all the cables on all the security systems and installed new WiFi. They were planning to sit there and move there,” the real estate agent said.
“It’s just a very eerie feeling to feel that someone has entered your property and tried to live there and make it their home.”
As California’s homeless population continues to grow and rising rents push people out of their homes, real estate agents and landlords say they’re seeing more and more squatters.
Alex Capozzolo of SD House Guys, a California-based home buying company, said in a press release that the fear of squatters drives landlords to buy up state-owned properties.
‘The squatter problem is not getting better here. We have had several rental properties where tenants stopped paying and started squatting,” Capozzolo said.
‘It’s not always easy to get them out. “That’s why we’re starting to make offers on properties outside of California.”

A vacant four-bed, 5,857-square-foot, $4.3 million Beverly Hills home has become the site of almost daily raucous late-night parties since October, organized by a group of alleged squatters.
The parties often don’t start until two in the morning, last for hours and have led to assaults, fires and arrests.
The squatters even advertised rooms in the house on Booking.com for $300 a night and charged hundreds of partygoers a $75 entrance fee at the gate.
Police raided the home in late January after responding to reports of a home invasion and included suspects armed with knives.
According to KTLA, all prisoners were later released and no charges were filed.
