‘Shooting’ unfolds near NSW Parliament House as cops race to the scene

A man has fired a Glock-style gel blaster behind NSW Parliament House.

The incident took place on Ziekenhuisweg on Thursday around 1 p.m.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and saw four police cars near the building.

“The guy apparently drives along Hospital Road towards Parliament House and fires what appears to be a Glock into the property,” a parliamentary source told the paper. Daily Telegraph.

“We think it was a gel blaster.”

The man drove away after discharging the replica firearm.

No injuries have been reported.

NSW Police have set up a crime scene.
