Shohei Ohtani’s DOG Decoy throws out the first pitch at Dodgers game… after fans lined up for SEVEN HOURS to get LA superstar’s limited-edition bobblehead

A touching moment before the Los Angeles Dodgers took on the Baltimore Orioles involved Shohei Ohtani’s dog Decoy in the pre-game festivities.

During ‘Shohei Ohtani Bobblehead Night’, hundreds of fans lined up to get their hands on the collectibles.

The Dodgers had 40,000 statuettes to give away to fans after selling 53,527 tickets to the game.

Video footage shows the long line surrounding Dodger Stadium in the Chavez Ravine neighborhood of Los Angeles.

These queues formed hours before the evening match between the two clubs even started.

Ohtani added to the festivities with a home run in his first at bat of the evening

But once they got inside, a surprise awaited them: Ohtani came out with his dog to throw the first ball.

Ohtani brought Decoy to the mound, where a ball lay waiting for the dog to retrieve.

On Ohtani’s command, the dog picked up the ball and ran with it to the Japanese star, who was waiting behind home plate.

On the night he was honored, Ohtani provided a fireworks display for the crowd when he hit a home run to right-center field on the fifth pitch of the night.
