Shohei Ohtani and dog Decoy’s gold Dodgers bobblehead sells on eBay for staggering price
A special edition Dodgers bobblehead featuring Shohei Ohtani and his dog Decoy is selling for five figures on eBay, according to a placement on the e-commerce website.
A day after the AL MVP presented his adorable Nederlandse Kooikerhondje to fans before the Dodgers played the Orioles on Tuesday, an eBay seller listed his gold bobblehead of the Japanese fighter and his dog for a staggering $20,000.
According to eBay, the ad has been viewed 1,1718 times in the past 24 hours.
For comparison, a regular Ohtani bobblehead costs $199.99 online.
The Dodgers were given away 40,000 Ohtani and Decoy statuettes after selling 53,527 tickets for their game against Baltimore.

Footage that went viral on social media showed long lines forming around Dodger Stadium in the Chavez Ravine neighborhood of Los Angeles seven hours before Tuesday’s game.
Ohtani also brought Decoy to the mound, where a baseball lay waiting for the dog to retrieve it.
On Ohtani’s command, Decoy picked up the ball and then ran to his owner, who was waiting for him behind home plate.

On the night he was honored, Ohtani provided a fireworks display for the crowd when he hit a home run to right-center field on the fifth pitch of the night.
The Dodgers won the game 6-4 against Baltimore. Ohtani had a 2-4 score and scored three runs.
The Dodgers will face the Orioles for the final time on Thursday as part of a three-game series, with both teams having won one game each.
The Dodgers then travel to Arizona to play the Diamondbacks on Friday.
